The full moon in 20°5’ of Sagittarius on Wednesday, June 11 (2:44 a.m. CDT) offers new insights and bold, forward momentum. This lunation emphasizes themes of faith, belief, and personal expansion.
We are invited to hold a higher vision of our lives and open to a better understanding of what we have been contemplating.
Even if we cannot see of the details of what is ahead, we are now more easily able to connect to new possibilities and hope.
The last several months have brought us to significant crossroads and led us to making important choices. But in in our efforts to understand our situations, we may have found ourselves overthinking and overprocessing our life circumstances. This lunation invites us to take time to reflect on our belief systems and to see our lives in different ways.
The full moon makes a trine to Mars and Chiron, prompting us to consider what it means to be a leader, where we are called to defend our position, how we can advocate for others, and ways we can stand up for what we believe in. We may seek freedom and autonomy, but it is also important to understand what drives us and what we are ultimately fighting for. It is crucial at this time to respond from our intuitive instincts rather than simply reacting.
“Fight for the things that you care about. But do it in a way that will lead others to join you.”
Ruth Bader Ginsburg
This full moon corresponds to the Sagittarius new moon on December 12th, 2023. Over these past 18 months, we have been in the process of unlearning our old conditioning. Now, we are asked to release these outdated convictions and structures so that we may live a life that feels more aligned with our true nature. Divine insight is illuminating the places where we have been holding on to old narratives that have made us feel small or where we have settled for less so that we may step more fully into this next cycle of personal expansion.

The Sagittarius/Gemini Polarity
Gemini represents learning, language, and the interconnectedness between all things. Gemini teaches us to be adaptive, teachable, and to consider both sides. Gemini also guides us in how to think through what is unfolding in our lives. In this sign, we can create a cohesiveness in our minds, finding a better grasp of how things work, and also continuing to pursue our natural curiosity to learn even more.
Sagittarius guides us beyond our regular way of thinking so that we can more accurately interpret what information we receive. When we go outside our current reality, we are exposed to new paths and new truths. We ask bigger questions and explore our higher purpose and what we hold to be true. Through this sign, we learn how to be guided by our moral compass.
Working with this polarity necessitates pausing to reflect on the information we have gathered to support our growth. We must ask ourselves: What is all this learning for? By continuing to ask the big questions of life and challenge our own belief systems, we can continue to grow, and also be present and engaged. We must be eager to expand our knowledge and remain open to receiving direction from our life experience and to the guidance of the present moment. It is from this place that we access our intuitive knowing and, as a result, can live a life that is authentic and aligned to our truth.
Remembering Our Shared Humanity
Two days before the full moon was exact, Jupiter entered the sign of Cancer. This begins a one-year collective cycle of care and compassion. We are invited nurture the connections that feel like soul family and to remember our shared humanity. Jupiter prompts us to think about our philosophical framework, what we believe in, and to trust in our lived experience to arrive at a different understanding of our lives. Cancer connects us to what matters most and what we need to protect. As we connect from our hearts and learn from each other’s lived experiences, we have the opportunity to shed any obsolete principles we’ve been retaining. We are called to care more deeply for ourselves, others, and our shared humanity. By expanding our emotional drive, we can see new possibilities.
“Align yourself with people that you can learn from, people who want more out of life, people who are stretching and searching and seeking some higher ground in life.”
Les Brown
Shortly after Jupiter goes into Cancer, it will make a square to Saturn and Neptune. This is a call for a bigger collective shift that illuminates places of force and guides us back into our hearts. We create the space to listen to what creative ideas long to be birthed through us and to bring an intuitive and instinctual approach to our lives that helps us to step through new doors for our growth. We must ground our vision and integrate what we are learning in order to achieve personal milestones.
This transit offers powerful insights to expand what feels safe and secure and asks us to trust our intuition so that we can nurture ourselves from a loving and intentional place.
When we have confidence in our instincts and open to fresh ways of seeing, we expand our capacity for wisdom and insight to enter and guide us forward.
“Enlightened leadership is spiritual if we understand spirituality not as some kind of religious dogma or ideology but as the domain of awareness where we experience values like truth, goodness, beauty, love and compassion, and also intuition, creativity, insight and focused attention.”
Deepak Chopra
